ESSEX MIND AND SPIRIT
We are a community organisation that supports people by raising awareness of spiritual care in Mental Health recovery.
An important part of this work includes promoting respect for people’s beliefs and practices from faith traditions other than their own. This includes those beliefs of people who claim no religious affiliation…
We are currently developing our social media platforms. As soon as they’re ready we’ll let you know through our newsletters and the Apps themselves…

Essex Mind and Spirit Mapping Project Report Launch,
Tuesday 26th January 2016, 11.30am – 12.45pm, in Chelmsford Cathedral
As someone who very kindly has supported the EMS Mapping Project research undertaken in 2015, and who may have attended the mini-
The report details the research findings (so far) as to levels of cooperation and interaction around Essex between faith communities and individuals, and those responsible for the delivery and care of mental health services and support.
The report contains many findings of interest and significance to the Mental Health Trusts and many of the individuals and voluntary and statutory organisations concerned with the care, understanding and management of mental health issues. There are recommendations for further work and cooperation to ensure faith and spiritual issues are regarded positively and holistically by those who work with and support mental health service users, many of them inspired by your valuable input and cooperation with this research.
So it is hoped very much that you will be able to attend this event which is being hosted by the new Mid Essex Cluster Group, and which we hope will also attract good press coverage. If you are unable to be there, we request that, if possible, you delegate a representative(s) from your Trust/organisation to attend in your place, if that is applicable
Refreshments will be available.
An RSVP to Sidra Naeem as soon as possible would be appreciated please.
With thanks and best wishes
The Rev’d Canon Ivor Moody, Chair, Essex Mind and Spirit
